Our vision is that of a learning community where everyone is involved and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement. We value the contribution all can make to ensuring training and continuous professional development is of the highest possible quality.

As an Academy we want staff to take ownership of, and give a high priority to, training and development. We believe that a coherent and progressive opportunity to develop professionally and personally both improves standards and raises morale through personal and professional fulfilment and assists recruitment and retention.

Training Services and Professional Development

As a Training School, and recently awarded Teaching School status,  we have over 10 years’ experience of delivering successful training programmes for individuals or for specific groups of staff. We are now able to offer a range of tried and tested training and professional development programmes for schools or other educational settings.

Our programmes are based on models of best practice and our trainers are highly skilled and experienced practitioners. Our strength is in being able to accurately identify specific training needs through effective consultation and communication. 

All programmes can be delivered within your own school at a time that suits you. We can deliver individual or multiple sessions, through INSET or short CPD workshops.

Specialised Services and Venue Hire

If you want to add the ‘wow’ factor to that special occasion, whether for a school event or for a personal occasion, why not check out our range of specialised facilities and venue hire.

From wedding receptions to fireworks and laser displays, to filming and photography, or for t-shirt printing we have the equipment and skills to meet your needs.  Our venue and facilities can be hired for professional conferences, private weddings or sports activities, at weekends, evenings and during school time or school holidays.
