GCSE EXAMINATION RESULTS 2016
George Spencer’s Year 11 stars of 2016 have delivered a gold medal performance all of their own in this Olympic year. 79% of students gained English and Maths at a grade C or above under the new government key measure, and 75% gained 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths. This places this year’s results amongst some of the best in the Academy’s history.
The Principal of George Spencer Academy is delighted: “I’m so proud of all of our students. This a real gold medal performance by them all in this Olympic Year. These are some of our best ever GCSE results and I want to pay particular tribute to the exceptional hard work of all of our staff who go above and beyond to make sure our students have every possible chance of success. Well done everyone!”.
We wish all the students the very best.
