If you are interested in studying at George Spencer Sixth Form we suggest you apply as soon as possible.
Please do this by completing an application form, or contacting us to request one to be sent you by post.
If you download the application form it must be printed out and posted to us after completion because signatures are required.
Students come first at George Spencer. We provide an extensive range of courses for you to select your own learning package plus many activities and opportunities to make up your unique 6th form experience.
Our flexible learning opportunities allow a broad range of subject combinations for maximum choice.We also continue to develop transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem solving, which are essential for lifelong learning and employment.
Life in the Sixth Form is very different to life in the main school. The atmosphere is more relaxed and you are expected to take more responsibility for the organisation of your time and work. You will be allocated a Personal Learning Manager who will monitor your progress and support your learning.
At George Spencer there is a friendly and caring atmosphere. Staff and students are very approachable, so if you are coming from another school be assured of a very warm welcome and support which will enable you to settle in quickly.

George Spencer Academy celebrated its best ever set of A-Level results in 2011.
Every Year 13 student passed every A2 course taken, so a 100% pass rate was achieved for the first time.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our students on their fantastic results.
